ACSLPA Bids Farewell to Director of Professional Practice – Audiology

After six years of juggling both a clinical “day job” and ACSLPA administrative duties, Holly Gusnowsky has decided to hang up her ACSLPA hat and focus her energy toward assisting with the implementation of Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) services at her place of work, amongst many other clinical duties and projects.

During her tenure as the Director of Professional Practice for Audiology, Holly was instrumental in the development of ACSLPA clinical guidelines, Standards of Practice, and led the development of a revised Code of Ethics, which is currently undergoing external stakeholder review by the government. She was also successful in securing a Prac ID for audiologists in order that they can make direct referrals to ENTs.

Holly has been a tireless advocate for audiology and audiologists and she will remain as a subject matter expert on a national committee developing revised competency profiles for the professions of speech-language pathology and audiology.

We will miss you Holly and we thank you for your years of dedicated service!

Stay tuned to email and the ACSLPA website for a future job posting.
