The Health Quality Council of Alberta (HQCA) and the Ward of the 21st Century (W21C) have come together for the fifth year to sponsor the Patient Safety & Quality Management Certificate course through the University of Calgary’s Office of Continuing Medical Education & Professional Development. The certificate is an accredited academic course recognized throughout Canada as a highly sought-after certification.
The course is designed for healthcare professionals who want to expand their working understanding of concepts in patient safety and quality management. The course is offered as a combination of in-person classroom sessions and interactive online sessions that begin in September 2014 and conclude with a presentation day in March 2015.
Who Is This Course For?
The course has been designed to be relevant and meaningful for anyone who works in the health care environment.
Where Are the Sessions Held?
In-person days will take place at the University of Calgary on September 8-9, 2014 and March 5-6, 2015. Presentation day will be on March 6, 2015.
Online Sessions will take place on Tuesdays from September 16 - December 9, 2014 and January 27 - February 17, 2015. Students can login remotely using any computer.
